Real Estate Interest Rates are Great in Lindon

Real Estate Interest Rates are Great in Lindon

Rates on mortgages are dropping for real estate in the Lindon area thanks to a recent move by the Federal Reserve Bank. The feds dropped the rate this week in a move to spark the housing market and rebound the economy.

What does this mean for the real estate market in Lindon, Utah? Well, as you know there are plenty of houses on the market in Lindon, Utah. I have been saying that there is a ‘buyer’s market’ in Lindon, Utah, but it couldn’t be any more true than it is now.

With interest rates at their lowest point in four years, and houses reaching the 120 day mark, sellers are ready to deal and banks are ready to loosen up, if not at least just a little.

It will probably take a while before the real estate market in Lindon, Utah rebounds completely, however there is a great opportunity for buyers to take advantage of a crossroads occurrence and get a great deal on a new real estate property at great rates.

Lindon Real Estate Agent

January 17th, 2008 by realtyadvantage

Lindon Real Estate Agent

According to the recently released 2007 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 85 percent of recent home sellers were assisted by a real estate agent. This is a significant statistic as you consider selling your home in the Lindon real estate market.

The report offers some interesting insight into how and why sellers choose a real estate agent. Among the answers provided in the national survey are the following reasons:

Home Selling Experience. Experienced sellers still rely on a real estate agent to help them sell a home. As a Realtor, I have extensive experience in selling real estate in the Lindon real estate market, and I am familiar with the local area and can offer great advice and ideas for buying or selling your home in Lindon.

Good references. Most sellers and buyers will ask someone that they know for advice on which Realtor to use. Word of mouth and a good track record are among the two most important assets an agent can have when vying for your business. I have received a number of referrals through word of mouth, and direct reference. Visit my website for more information about the people I have worked with and what they have to say about my service. You can find me at realtyadvantageinc.com

Service. Home buyers and sellers alike are interested in getting the best service available when buying or selling a home in Lindon. As an Lindon Realtor I understand that service is what sets me apart from the other options you have, and that my effort is what will turn our relationship into a successful purchase or sale.

My name is Aaron McIntire, I am a Realtor in the Lindon, Utah area. I service the 84042 zip code area, and generally work within 10 miles of Lindon including the Highland and Lehi areas.

If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the greater Provo area, please give me a call. You can reach me at 801.787.9705.

For Sale By Owner in Lindon

January 13th, 2008 by realtyadvantage

For Sale By Owner in Lindon

In my research of the local Lindon real estate market, I have noticed quite a few Lindon FSBO houses. I always make a note of them and contact the owner when possible. The reason I do this is because Lindon FSBO owners in Lindon are often willing to work with a ‘buying agent’ who can bring them qualified candidates.

With winter here in full swing, the opportunity for Lindon FSBO houses to sell is diminished because of several things. Let’s go over a few for the record:

The holiday season takes its toll on consumers, and in the months immediately after the holidays (January and February) it is especially difficult to muster the time and energy it takes to negotiate financing.

The winter months create a lull in foot traffic to homes because of the cold. Fewer people are willing to leave the warmth of their current home in search of a new one when the weather is bad.

Appeal is also diminished. A home will always be more appealing when the landscaping is alive and colorful. The stark cold of the winter months is often beautiful, but rarely does it lend a hand to the real estate market.

Selling ‘For Sale By Owner’ is a difficult task, and even more so in the winter months when the weather and social barriers are against you.

Having a Realtor on your side can help you buy or sell an Lindon FSBO home. A Realtor like myself has a wider range of sales tools to attract customers and communicate the features and benefits of your Lindon FSBO, and I can help you find great Lindon FSBO opportunities, too.

Good Time To Buy Lindon Real Estate

December 27th, 2007 by realtyadvantage

Buy Lindon Real Estate

With Mortgage rates at record lows, and an abundance of houses on the Lindon market, the time is right to buy a new Lindon real estate property.

In an effort to help jump start the flagging Lindon housing market, the federal reserve recently lowered interest rates, opening greater access to money for lenders. This normally makes it easier to qualify for mortgage loans for Lindon real estate. And this is certainly the case, however, you may also have been hearing that big-name lenders are folding up and tightening their loan requirements.

It’s true; the mortgage loan market is experiencing turbulence and lenders are acting nervous. But don’t let this scare you; the truth is that banks are still making money on loans, and the Lindon economy is more stable than the nightly news people want you to believe.

Buying a new house in the Lindon real estate market is making a lot of sense right now because prices are good and there are plenty of choices. Smart real estate investors will look to this kind of opportunity to get the right house at the right price.

If you are interested in learning more about our local Lindon real estate market, give me a call. I am currently showing homes in the Lindon area, and would love to show you some of the great deals we have out there.

Lindon For Sale By Owner

December 23rd, 2007 by realtyadvantage

Lindon For Sale By Owner

For Sale By Owner ‘ is a method of selling Land real estate in the Lindon area. For Sale By Owner is referred to as a ‘FSBO’, verbally pronounced as ‘fizz-bow’. You may hear real estate agents or property owners use this term to describe Land real estate properties that are placed on the market by a non-professional real estate marketer.

While there is nothing wrong with selling Land real estate on your own, research statistics show that you are more likely to sell for more if you have a Realtor on your side.

As a professional real estate marketer, I have access to marketing tools and resources that allow me to more effectively sell your Lindon Land real estate property.

Among the benefits of using a Realtor instead of ‘ For Sale By Owner ‘:

Sell for more; research indicates that a Realtor can typically sell for anywhere from a few thousand to many thousands more.

Sell faster; the marketing tools and resources I have available to me as a Realtor allow me to market your Lindon Land real estate property more aggressively, reaching more qualified buyers in less time.

Sell with fewer problems; FSBO sales are often complicated when both the buyer and/or the seller are unfamiliar with the legal process of selling an Lindon Land real estate property. There are many rules and regulations that I, as a Realtor, am professionally familiar with. Sellers often report that selling an Lindon Land real estate property was one of the most stressful experiences in their life. My qualifications can mitigate the complications and turn a stressful experience into a happy one.

So before you list your Lindon Land real estate property as for sale by owner, consider getting a Realtor involved.

My name is Aaron McIntire, and I am a Realtor. You can learn more about me and selling For Sale By Owner at my official real estate website at realtyadvantageinc.com.

Or you can simply give me a call at 801.787.9705.

I concentrate on FSBO sales in the greater Provo area.

Lindon Mortgage Market

December 12th, 2007 by realtyadvantage

Realty Advanatge Real Estate in Lindon

The Federal Reserve just lowered short-term interest rates by a quarter percent. What does this mean for our Lindon real estate market? Probably several things, and most of them good.

The Federal Reserve bank makes loans to loan companies, and when they reduce their rates, it makes it easier for other banks to get money and make loans. If you have been considering a real estate investment, now is a great time to get serious.

You may have heard that we have a ‘buyer’s market’ here in Lindon, and to an extent that is true. And while there are plenty of reasons to buy, there are also good reasons to sell. The resent move by the feds will help on both sides of the deal.

If you are interested in learning more about how the recent changes affect mortgage loans and the Lindon real estate market, please give me a call.

Lindon Residential real estate property

My name is Aaron McIntire, and I am a qualified, experienced Realtor working out of the Lindon, Utah office of Realty Advanatge. You can find us at 360 North State Ste G, or just give me a call at 801.787.9705.

I help evaluate Lindon Residential real estate in the 84042 zip code area, and surrounding areas including Highland and Lehi. I can help you establish the right price for your property based on your goals to buy or sell.

Evaluation of a Lindon Residential real estate property includes a number of considerations, including the following:

Appraisal. Of course an appraisal of your Lindon Residential real estate property is key. Appraisals are done by licensed appraisers, and provide you with a detailed and specific valuation of your Lindon Residential real estate property.

An appraisal will include your location in Lindon, and your proximity to shopping, schools, freeways, and other related services. An appraisal will also take into consideration the condition of your Lindon Residential real estate property, including age and conformity with modern building codes.

Cosmetic appeal will be a consideration as well. Cosmetic appeal can include everything from the condition of the property, including paint or surface treatments, to wear and tear, to landscaping and general upkeep.

Establishing a valuation for your Lindon Residential real estate property will require a coordinated effort between the appraised value of your home, with your selling goals. While the appraiser will consider ‘fair market value’, you will have to consider whether the market is paying top dollar for your type of property, and how fast you want to sell. ‘Pricing to sell’ is an important factor in how long your Lindon Residential real estate property will be on the market, and how attractive it will be to potential buyers.

Give me a call if you need some help evaluating your property. There are lots of factors that go into establishing a price for your Lindon Residential real estate property, and I can help you understand the factors that need to be considered as you make this important decision.
